NOIC has embarked on a special project in collaboration with some donors/corporate bodies. These include the NOIC Technical Skills Acquisition Project (TSAP) in Warri, which commenced in February 1997. The project is being funded by NNPC/ Chevron joint venture and is aimed at empowering youths in the oil mining are with relevant knowledge and skills to enable them secure gainful employment or become self-employed. Courses offered include Metal Fabrication/Welding, Secretarial/Computer Studies as well as the usual life skill courses that distinguish NOIC training from the others.
This is a special project being executed by NOIC under agreement with Shell Petroleum Development Company for the benefit or youths in SPDC’s areas of operation. This project is located in Bori, Khaila Local Government Area of Rivers State. Training commenced here in the by SPDC.

NOIC has collaborated with other organizations to train sponsored organizations to train sponsored youths in various vocations. Such organizations include: Churches, Local Governments, and NGOs such as Action Health Incorporated (AHI), The Strong Nation, The Freedom Foundation amongst others.
