With these and sundry other programmes being provided by NOIC, graduate – trainees become Owners of small and Medium – Scale enterprise, and employers of Labour. They become self-reliant, economically productive and their quality of life improves dramatically. NOIC training centres transform hopelessness into hope through provision of job skills, human resource training and small business development.
Briefly what NOIC stands for is job creation and poverty alleviation. About 32,500 Nigerian citizens have been trained since inception of training activities. Many of such are now employers of Labour. Graduate-trainees are encouraged to pull resources together and obtain a revolving loan from NOIC National Loan revolving Scheme to enable them set up their own businesses. While those willing to be employed by established organizations are also job-placed.
